API Technology

Two leaders in technology and online services are working together to create a powerful new choice in search advertising. Soon, you’ll be able to reach a  high-quality audience in a more cost-effective way.

As part of the Yahoo! and Microsoft Search Alliance, all Yahoo! Search Marketing advertisers will transition to Microsoft Advertising adCenter and Yahoo! Search Marketing EWS API users will transition to the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API. For a smoother transition, Yahoo! Search Marketing EWS API users will first receive access to the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API Sandbox test environment. For those users, access to the adCenter API Production environment will follow.

Just as with the Yahoo! Search Marketing API, the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API enables users to access the ad platform programmatically to manage accounts, campaigns, ad groups, keywords and ads. With the power of this interface, users can continue to manage large volumes of account and campaign transactions efficiently.

In addition, the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API can help you:

  • Create and manage campaigns, ad groups, keywords and ads for large numbers of accounts.
  • Retrieve Microsoft Advertising adCenter business intelligence data for one or many accounts.
  • Manage campaigns by revising budgets, targeting ad groups, updating bids and pausing ads.
  • Remove existing campaigns, ad groups, keywords and ads.
  • Perform advanced, easy-to-use reporting that provides sophisticated ROI analysis.
