API Technology

Two leaders in technology and online services are working together to create a powerful new choice in search advertising.  Soon, you’ll be able to reach even more customers, with less time and effort. As part of the Yahoo! and Microsoft Search Alliance, all Yahoo! Search Marketing advertisers will transition to using Microsoft Advertising adCenter- and Yahoo! Search Marketing EWS API users will transition to using the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API. To help U.S. and Canada Yahoo! Search Marketing EWS API users with the transition to the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API, users will receive access to the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API Production and Sandbox environment.

Just as with the Yahoo! Search Marketing API, the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API enables you to programmatically access the ad platform to manage your accounts, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads. With the power of this interface, you can continue to efficiently manage large volumes of account and campaign transactions.

In addition, the Microsoft Advertising adCenter API can help you:
  • Create and manage campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads for large numbers of accounts.
  • Retrieve Microsoft Advertising adCenter business intelligence data for one or many accounts.
  • Manage campaigns by revising budgets, targeting ad groups, updating bids, pausing ads, etc.
  • Remove existing campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads.
  • Perform advanced, easy-to-use reporting that provides sophisticated ROI analysis.
